Na madrugada e início da manhã desta quarta-feira (29), a Região Metropolitana do Recife (RMR) foi surpreendida por chuvas moderadas, já previstas pela Agência Pernambucana de Águas e Clima (Apac). A capital pernambucana, Recife, entrou em estágio de atenção devido aos impactos causados pelas precipitações.
De acordo com o painel de monitoramento da Apac, Jaboatão dos Guararapes foi a cidade mais afetada nas últimas 24 horas, registrando um acumulado de 52,8 milímetros de chuva. Recife também teve um volume significativo de 36,8 mm, enquanto Olinda e Camaragibe contabilizaram 32,84 mm e 29,16 mm, respectivamente. Esses dados foram atualizados às 6h50 desta quarta-feira.
O Centro de Operações do Recife (COP) emitiu um alerta amarelo, indicando um estágio de “atenção” na capital pernambucana a partir das 6h30. “Identificamos algumas ocorrências devido às chuvas, como alagamentos. Dependendo de onde você esteja, sua rotina pode ser impactada. Nossas equipes estão trabalhando para reverter a situação”, destacou o comunicado do COP. Além disso, foi informado que o pico de maré alta estava previsto para ocorrer às 8h11, com uma altura de 2 metros, potencializando os riscos de alagamentos.
A Apac explicou que as chuvas foram causadas por um Distúrbio Ondulatório de Leste, um fenômeno comum nos meses de maio, junho e julho. “A previsão trimestral da Apac é que este período chuvoso será de normal a acima da média, o que indica que chuvas moderadas, com pancadas mais fortes, serão cada vez mais frequentes”, afirmou a Agência.
A população da RMR deve permanecer atenta às atualizações meteorológicas e aos alertas das autoridades locais, uma vez que as condições climáticas adversas podem persistir até julho. As equipes de emergência estão mobilizadas para responder às ocorrências e minimizar os impactos das chuvas na região.
